You probably know, but the Kindle app itself is free to download and use, but you pay for individual books or for a monthly subscription to Kindle Unlimited, which gives you access to a large library of titles, similar to Netflix for e-books. You don’t need a Kindle device to use the app; you can read on your phone, tablet, or computer.
